  • Reece Personal Trainer

    Reece Parsons

Hi everyone, Reece here. Over the past three years and 5000 hours of personal training sessions I've built up my speciality of body transformations. I really pride myself on not only changing people in terms of how they look, but also in their mind-set in terms of how they feel towards their nutrition and training.

I look forward to meeting you all in the gym - keep an eye out for the guy with bright red hair and terrible banter - that's me!

  • Alicia Stewart

I have been working in the fitness industry for 5 years but have been involved in the gym since I was 16, having a pt myself and also training professionally in dance.

Over the last 10+ years, I have grown a love for the gym but unfortunately, when I was 20 I did experience some insecurities as to why I was gyming and what I was meant to do with pressure from the dance world that the gym was purely for aesthetics and this made me hate it.

Luckily I invested in a pt myself, whilst for aesthetic reasons only, this pt made me love the gym again and see all the positives of the gym including what I believe is the number 1 reason to now go to the gym, which is for better mental wellbeing. I loved the gym for how it made me feel and for being in such a positive environment. The gym subconsciously became a place for me where I didn't care how I looked but cared about how much I was lifting and the confidence I was developing.

After some reflection, I realised this and for my 21st birthday did my personal training course and haven't looked back. This experience made me want to help other women who were confused about how you can still go out occasionally, feel healthy, felt confident in how I look, and more importantly how I felt and get pbs they never thought they could! Ultimately to help women learn how to have it all!

Since training as a personal trainer i have expanded my ability to help others and found new passions that encompass a balanced confident lifestyle.

In 2022 I wanted to expand my anatomy and injury knowledge leading me to train in sports massage therapy which is offer to those local to the Kent, UK area.

  • Lucy Townsend

    Hi everyone,

For years before becoming a PT I always struggled with my mental health, body image and finding exercise that I actually enjoyed.

I initially started lifting weights at home when I ordered my first pair of 4kg of dumbells which I struggled to lift out the box!

Lifting weights not only gave me so many health related benefits but also improved my mental health, discipline and confidence. It has transformed my life.

Now as a personal trainer, competitive powerlifter and soon to be psychology graduate from Loughborough university.

I am super passionate about helping people not only improve their physical and mental health but, in achieving any goals they may have.

    Look forward to meeting you,

    Lucy

  • Daisy Personal Trainer

    Daisy Foyle

Hello everyone, Daisy here! Since the age of 16, I've enjoyed going to and training in the gym. I started sharing training sessions with my mum, and ever since I've loved the feeling of achievement and the serotonin boost you get after a good session!

Having completed my level 3 personal training qualification at the largest gym in London, it confirmed to me that I don't want to spend my life in an office all day, but instead have the satisfaction of helping people improve themselves and achieving their goals. I love working here at FORM in a relaxed and fun environment that makes people feel motivated and positive.

Training isn't all about changing the visible - things like looking more muscular and leaner. It's just as important there's a focus on feeling stronger, happier, more confident and enjoying each session!

  • Sam Personal Trainer

Sam Williamson - Personal Trainer & Sports Rehab Therapist

Hey everyone, Sam here. My biggest asset is not my biceps or my calves, but instead is having a passion for motivating my clients and helping them reach their goals, whether than is being able to walk up the stairs pain free, or learning to Olympic weightlift. Alongside personal training sessions, I offer specialised rehabilitation for anything from sports specific injuries, to solving everyday aches and pains. During these sessions, a range of treatments are used, including massage therapy and mobilisations. I think living pain free should be a goal to us all.

I'm passionate about educating others and passing on my knowledge to help you understand your own body and how you can reduce the chance of injury in the future. I believe encouraging everyone to become well rounded individuals in the gym aids day to day life by using injury avoidance techniques to improve performance and general wellbeing. Together we would start by increasing range of motion, then improving weaknesses and capitalising on strengths. During my time working in several different areas, I have gained extensive knowledge on understanding and diagnosing musculoskeletal injuries. This has allowed me to help many individuals get back to the sport they love, or simply just be able to get out of bed in the morning without making funny noises!

  • Paul Personal Trainer

Paul Parker - Personal Trainer and Strength & conditioning Coach

Hi, I'm Paul Parker. Often referred to as "Tall Paul", "TP" or "PP". I'm a performance coach and business owner (PRPerformance), dedicated and passionate about helping people reach their "better", whatever that looks like for them. I believe in providing holistic support and trying to create an environment to allow the person to thrive first and foremost, and reap the rewards as an athlete as a consequence.

At 6ft7 I’ve always been particularly body conscious myself, and always wanted to avoid the “Crouchy” stereotype and put a bit more meat on the bones! Spending more time in the gym at uni opened my eyes to the industry as a more genuine career choice and I feel lucky to have spent my years here since! As a person, I’m curious, compassionate, and like having a positive impact on others – qualities that lend themselves to many aspects of my life. My role as a performance coach allows me to blend those characteristics with my passion for sport.

  • Val Personal Trainer

    Val Simpson

Hi, I'm Val, Personal Trainer here at FORM and one half of The Health Boost.

After a career in banking in Paris and London, I took a break to spend time with my kids, and realised that there was more to life than sitting behind a desk!

In 2017, I started The Health Boost with my friend Kat, a nutritional therapist, hoping to inspire and help families by sharing our love for good, nutritious food and simple healthy lifestyle tips. That year, I also plucked up the courage to go back to studying and focus on my passion for sport and exercise. Fast forward to summer 2018, I qualified as a level 3 personal trainer. Best thing ever! This year, I will be studying for another qualification in Mental Health & Wellbeing - I love learning!

I am passionate about women's health through lifestyle, sensible personalised nutrition and balanced exercise. My training style is fun and energetic. No one session is the same and it absolutely has to be enjoyable and challenging. I am a big fan of training those of you who bring a gym buddy too!

My aim is to make you stronger and more confident in your body and what it can, and will achieve.

  • Richard Personal Trainer

Richard Turner - Personal Trainer & Corporate Health

Hi, I'm Rich, otherwise known to a lot of people as "Dickie". I am a PT here at FORM alongside running my corporate workplace wellbeing business, Employees Health.

My journey to where I am today started at a young age - I wasn’t the greatest or smartest of kids but the one thing I did love was sport. At the age of 15 after nearly not making through to my GCSEs, I knew I had to change my attitude. So I decided to follow the one thing which had been a consistent part of my life and that was sport, exercise and then eventually health and wellbeing.

I count myself fortunate that I've had the opportunity to work within the corporate wellbeing world too. Being involved directly with my clients in the workplace away from the gym has given me a greater understanding of the challenges related to health and fitness faced by those in a corporate environment. This has led for me to take a keen interest in not only the physical improvements we can make as a result of training and nutrition, but also the beneficial effects on mindset, mood and motivation.

  • Joe Personal Trainer & owner

Joe Birch - Owner & Personal Trainer

Hi, Joe here. Shortly after graduating from Loughborough I fell in love with Personal Training and I’ve never looked back. I’m extremely fortunate to make a living in an industry I love and to have created my ideal space for delivering PT.

I’ve learnt so much about helping people achieve their goals over the last 15 years and I’ve accrued over 15,000 hours of in person training experience.

Exercise is the ultimate health intervention so helping people on that journey is a pleasure.

  • James Personal Trainer

    James Blanchard - Co-owner

Hi, I'm James Blanchard, aka JB, co-owner here at FORM Personal Training. I'm a personal trainer, nutrition coach, prestige level ice-cream taste tester, average photographer and barbell enthusiast. I have a BSc (first class hons.) in Sport Science, I am proud to be a Mental Health First Aider and hold the FMS, CSCS and Pn1 qualifications.

Growing up, I found my teen years difficult - I grew up dealing with anxiety, depression and low self esteem. Little did I know that my therapy would come as a present at the age of 14 in the form of a set of weights. I morphed into a "bro" overnight and would follow terrible routines in magazines, doing endless sets of bicep curls in the hope of becoming a babe magnet. My biceps did get bigger, but I'm still waiting on the babe magnet part.

My experience without a doubt underpins my love for doing what I do. I recognise the positive effect training had on me and I take no greater pleasure in helping others do the same. This is exactly why a year after receiving that weights set, my first work experience gig was working in a gym, and it's what I've continued to do in some capacity ever since!
